Since graduating from the Academy of Music, Michał Salamon participated in just under a thousand concerts on Polish and European stages with the bands FOURS Collective and Quindependence and also with Grzech Piotrowski, World Orchestra, Bartozzi Wojciechowski, Staszek Słowiński Quintet and popular music artists such as Kayah, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Natalia Kukulska, Ania Karwan, Marysia Sadowska, Mateusz Ziółko, Damian Ukeje, Filharmonia Futura and Vieniew Orchestra.
He also took part in many jazz festivals such as, Jazz Juniors, Jazz nad Odrą, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Summer Jazz Festival in Piwnica pod Baranami, Festival Colours of Poland, YMCA Europe Festival (Czech Republic), Polska Jazz (Hungary), Nisville Jazz Festival (Serbia).
In April 2017 Michał Salamon, together with his band FOURS Collective, played as a support act for Gregory Porter and in July with Quindependence, supported Kamasi Washington.
Michał Salamon is most of all a leader and the author of most of the compositions that he performs. He composed all the FOURS Collective pieces and part of the pieces played with Quendependence. The album Lion’s Gate is composed in full by the Artist. Michał Salamon has also been involved in composing soundtracks and commercials.
Apart from artistic activity, Michał Salamon is also a teacher. He has been teaching in various musical schools for many years, among them Witold Lutosławski Cracow Conservatorium and Music Hub Academy in Warsaw.
While teaching he focuses on the appropriate development and directing of the young musicians.
His teaching experience and his own musical route influenced Michał Salamon to create an online space for concerts and interviews with artist from the music scene, called Salamonspace. His project is directed towards the students of artistic schools as well as graduates entering the music scene.
