Raimonda Kielaitė, also known as Mone Kielė, is a painter born on April 19th, 1992, who operates in the art scene. She completed her bachelor's degree at the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2017. Mone Kielė's main focus is on people and the environment around them. Her paintings often consist of self-portraits, which narrate the artist's personal experience, but she also draws inspiration from real people who have become an integral part of her creative work. The dominant themes in her artwork are the appearance of humans, their bright attire, and body language, which is sometimes expressed in graceful and plasticky strokes, or in contrast, a harsher style. She also conveys various emotions, and inner experiences covering a wide spectrum of feelings. Her characters can be joyful, playful, and quirky, but also present feelings of anxiety, melancholia, and contemplation. Mone Kielė's figures and portraits are made using oil paints, broad brushstrokes, bold and contrasting colors, usually on large canvases. The artist currently lives and actively creates in the Czech Republic. In 2020, she held a solo exhibition titled "The Look" in the town of Velešín, Czech Republic, and participated in a group exhibition called "Kontr-Arguentas III" at the Meno Park Gallery in Kaunas.
