Monika Kučinskaitė is a soprano, laureate of international competitions and participant in festivals, actively performing concerts in Lithuania and abroad. In 2019, Monika made her debut as the character Maša in the Vilnius City Opera's production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's opera "The Queen of Spades" at the Vilnius Congress Hall. A year later, she performed the role of the Governess in the same production. Monika has worked with conductors such as Josep Caballé-Domenech, Modestas Pitrėnas, and Gintaras Rinkevičius, and has performed with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Cappella Temporale chamber orchestra, and the Lithuanian State Wind Instrument Orchestra "Trimitas". In 2018, Monika made her debut as the character Frasquita in the electronic opera "e-Carmen" at the Vilnius City Opera, directed by Dalia Ibelhauptaitė and in collaboration with "Ten Walls". Monika has played the roles of Fiordiligi, Countess Rosina, and Suor Angelica in W. A. Mozart and G. Puccini operas at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre Opera Studio from 2016-2020. Monika developed her vocal skills with Asta Krikščiūnaitė. From 2015-2021, she created roles in the productions of "Master Class (Maria Callas)" at the State Vilnius Small Theatre and in Vilnius City Opera productions, such as G. Puccini's "Tosca," Verdi's "Il trovatore," W.A. Mozart's "All of Her" and Ch. Gounod's "Faust" (as a soloist). Monika won the 19th Vincas Jonušaitė-Zaunienė Competition in Lithuania and the 4th international music competition "Su muzika per Europą Lietuva-Italija" (Grand Prix). In 2021, Monika signed a contract with the Ascolta Artists agency and continues to improve her vocal skills with Elena Batoukova-Kerl.
