Mykhailo Chedrik is a composer from Transcarpathia who graduated from the National Academy of Music in Kyiv. Previously, he composed music for flute, violin and guitar. And now he is working on a composition for double bass and string orchestra.Chedrik defines his purpose as a composer very simply: for him, it is a way to relax from work. Despite the humorous approach to this issue, it is worth noting that he actively works in the music field, in particular for Kyiv Contemporary Music Days and the Ukrainian Institute. For the composer, music serves as a tool of cultural diplomacy for the country, a way of entertainment for listeners, and something that goes beyond ordinary needs and is important to the artist himself.
