Natania Hoffman is a versatile, thought-provoking musician whose performances and masterclasses have been heard around the world.
As a soloist, Natania has performed with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Namur Chamber Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, and Lakeland Civic Orchestra, among others. She completed an Artist Diploma the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth under the guidance of Gary Hoffman.
An avid chamber musician, Natania toured Europe, the USA, China, New Zealand, and India, alongside artists such as Giuliano Carmignola, Augustin Dumay, Joseph Kalichstein, Gilles Apap, Mihaela Martin, and Boris Garlitsky. Additionally, she has participated in festivals such as Open Chamber Music at Prussia Cove, the Folle Journée de Nantes, the Ravinia Steans Institute of Music, and the Encuentro de Santander.
She is a member of Trio Agora, which has performed across Europe, and with whom she released a first CD, “Youth,” in 2017. Trio Agora was the first prize winner of the 2018 Anton Rubinstein competition in Düsseldorf, Germany, and released a second CD, “Connecting Identities,” with Odradek Records in November 2020. The trio completed a Masters degree in chamber music performance at the Hanns Eisler conservatory in 2022. Additionally, she formed the Trio Victoria in 2022, with Raphaëlle Moreau and Violaine Despeyroux.
Natania was a featured guest on the radio programs “Puisque vous avez du talent” hosted by Laurent Graulus (Musiq3, Belgium) and “Talente und Karrieren” hosted by Kamilla Kaiser (with Trio Agora, rbb Kultur, Germany); additionally, her performances have been broadcasted by Radio 4 (the Netherlands), Kol Hamusica (Israel), SWR (Germany) and LRT Klasika (Lithuania).
A dedicated teacher, Natania is professor of chamber music at the “L. Canepa” conservatory in Sassari; last year, she held the same position at the “F. Cilea” conservatory in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Additionally, she has been a faculty member of the NMA academy in Lithuania since 2018, and has been invited to teach masterclasses in the USA and in Europe. She served in the jury of the international “Luigi Nono” chamber music competition in Rivoli, Italy.
She is a recipient of scholarships from Neustart Kultur and #MusikerZukunft der Deutschen Orchester-Stiftung.
Natania has participated in many interdisciplinary projects, such as the musical theater project "La Bohème" (Schauspiel Leipzig, Anna-Sophie Mahler, Anna Jelena Schulte), chamber opera premieres of Physical Education / Neue Szenen (Deutsche Oper, Dennis Krauß, Juta Pranulytė), Unknown, I live with you (The Airport Society, Krystian Lada, Katarina Glowica) and Das Knabenherz von Pyrmont (Pyrmonter Salon, Luisa Islam-Ali-Zade, Vladimir Genin).
Additionally, she has toured Europe with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, is a guest leader of CASCO Phil, and has collaborated with the YES Camerata in Belgium.
