Born in Munich and graduated from the Munich Ballet Academy with distinction. Winner of the City of Munich and the Free State of Bavaria's award. Patrick Teschner danced as a soloist with the Bavarian State Ballet in choreographies by John Cranko, William Forsythe, Jacopo Godani, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, John Neumeier and Hans van Manen, among others. As a freelance training manager, he worked with the Stuttgart Ballet, the Forsythe Company, the Ballet de l'Opera de Lyon, the Compania Nacional de Danza, the Lower Saxony State Ballet and the Berlin State Ballet, among others. In 2007 he came to the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz as a training manager and assistant. Here, as an assistant, he was responsible for choreographies by William Forsythe, Christian Spuck and Marco Goecke, among others. From 2012 onwards he worked with Edward Clug, Marco Goecke, Jo Stromgren, Christopher Roman, Lucas Timulac, Jeroen Verbruggen, Andonis Foniadakis and Eyal Dadon. Patrick Teschner was responsible for the revivals of William Forsythe's ONE FLAT THING REPRODUCED and Marco Goecke's LA STRADA.
