Paulius Berūkštis was born in 1983 in Kaunas. He started playing the flute at the age of 9 at the A.Kačanauskas Music School. In 1999 he became a laureate of the J. Pakalnis Republican Competition.
In 2004 he graduated from the J. Gruodis Conservatory. From 2004 to 2010 he studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where he completed his Master's studies in the class of L. Chiapas. From 2006 to 2012 he worked as a flute teacher at Kėdainiai Music School, and since 2012 he has been working as a flute teacher at Kaunas 1st and Kaunas Mikas Petrauskas Music Schools.
Paulius Berūkštis has been playing and directing the Kaunas Christian Church Music Collective for more than ten years, and often participates in various musical projects together with Arvydas Joffe, Gabriele Gvazdikaite and other musicians. In 2019, Paulius released his debut album "Flute Sounds from Heaven" (the album was funded by the LATGA Creative Activities Fund).
