He studied horn at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and the Latvian J.Vytuols Academy of Music, and studied at the C.M. von Weber Higher School of Music in Dresden (Germany). Winner of national and international competitions in Lithuania and Latvia. From 2003 to 2019 he played in the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra. Since 2006 he has been a lecturer at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, a member of the St. Christopher Woodwind Quintet
