Paulius Prievelis is a dancer, performer, creator and teacher. in 2013 obtained a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and choreography (Vilnius College), spent part of his studies studying in Cyprus, at the University of Nicosia.
Worked at the Kaunas Dance Theater "AURA" (until 2016). Currently, Paulius works as a freelance dancer and actively works in the field of education.
Mr. Prievelis' creative works have been presented on Lithuanian and foreign stages since 2017, so in 2019 he created the production of his creative works /pp.beings/. His works were presented in Bulgaria, Germany, Malta, Belarus, Holland, Italy.
In his works, the artist explores new forms of movement and performative performance, he is particularly interested in various stand-up performance practices and improvisation. Through the social and sub-cultural context, various social nuances, his works analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological states between the performer's body, physical preparation and performance approach.
In 2017, Paulius also initiated the international contemporary art festival STARTAS in Rokišky and is still working as one of the artistic directors of the festival.
