Peter Pieters created his musical performance at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. He became a laureate in organ and music education in 1981. He now studies the Leuven verder and subsequently he has a higher organ composition by Chris Dubois, composition and fuga by Jan Hadermann, Frans Geysen and Jos Van Looy. In June 1983 he received his first prize at the Lemmens-Tinelprijs for organ. Momentel is his teaching organ, improvisation of songs and compositions at the Lemmensinstituut te Leuven in Sedert 1986, organist-titularis of the Sint-Romboutskathedraal te Mechelen, as opulger of Flor Peeters. As an organist, he has held numerous concerts in the interior of the country and was also a guest in many organ festivals in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy, Denemarken, Poland,... In 1998, he held several concert activities in Bolivia with a repertory of oud -Nederlandse and oud-Spanish composers. As a composer, he wrote vocal music, chamber music, great orkest pieces and works for koor en orkest, waaronder de Mariacantate 'Mater et advocata nostra' and in '93 'Le chemin de la Croix' op tekst van Paul Claudel. In September '95 the Mechelen 'Het Gekkendorp' was created, an oratorio by Father Damiaan. In '97 he composed the music in the opdracht van luidsprekerfabrikant B&W a large group opgezette score for symphonic orchestra, organ, synthesizer and rock band. The equipment was realized by the orchestra of the Lemmensinstituut and recorded by the legendary Abbey Road studios for EMI in London. In ’99 he composed a Benedictus oratorio from 100 years ago Abdij Keizersberg in Leuven. The first CD release was made in an opname with Peter Pieters as a soloist in the organ concert at the Missa Festiva van Flor Peeters, performed in 2003 by Klara. In 2004, for the 875th anniversary of the Abdij van Tongerlo, an SA-CD op, recorded on the Klais organ of the Abdij.
