Petras Lincevičius' work can be described in terms of philotopia and genius loci. The former, defining concrete thinking rooted in a specific place - the land of one's birth, enables one to engage in a positioned and enlightened reflection on universal and global contexts. The second focuses on the analysis of specific places, their uniqueness and spirit of place. For me, art is a language to express phenomenological experiences of the analysis of specific places and material and material culture, which are directed towards the theme of local identity in a global society.
