Lithuanian circus clown performer, aerial gymnast (at the beginning of his career), trainer. Representative of the oldest dynasty of Lithuanian circus performers. Founder and director of the only professional Baltic Circus in Lithuania.
1976 - graduated from the Moscow School of Stage and Circus Art. He made his debut in the circus arena with the aerial gymnastics number "Air Flight" (performed by 5 gymnasts). Soon after, he married Olga, a student of the same circus school, who was a bicycle figure skater.
Since 1981, together with his wife Olga, he revived a popular dressage number with pigs, "Shepherdess and Shepherd", in the programme of the collective "Vilnius". The pigs dancing through flaming hoops, humorously referred to as the "Baltic Tigers", were the promotional face of Vilnius for many years. The number, which was also performed in foreign circuses, was performed in the arena until 1996.
In 1995, he founded the public institution "Baltic Circus". He is the director and performer of this circus.
In 2000 P. Variakoy was awarded the title of academician of the Russian Academy of Circus Art.
In 2007 P. Variakoy was awarded the silver honorary badge of the Russian Academy of Circus Art.
