One of the leading jazz promoters in Lithuania graduated from the M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts in 1967 and from the class of O.Šteinbergaitė's piano at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1972. The pianist performed on stage with famous vocalists such as Irena Milkevičiūtė, Geham.Grigoianas, Eduardas Kaniava, Vytautas Juozapaitis, Judita Leitaitė, and others. Since 1980, he has accompanied Virgilijus Noreika. He balances his concert activities with his work at the M.K.Čiurlionis Arts Gymnasium and is an expert concertmaster. He was awarded the Gediminas Order medal.
