Received his first guitar lessons at the age of 10 years. In addition to the classic education he has always been passionate about flamenco. It has been a great wish since the beginning to connect these two world.

Prize winners among others from a first place in Treviso, Italy, a second prize at the International Guitar Festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and a second place in the category chamber music together with the flutist Fabian Franco Ramirez at the International Guitar Festival in Gorizia, Italy.
Studied in Murcia, Spain with flamenco guitarist Carlos Piñana with whom he worked since then and plays concerts worldwide.

Publication of his Flamenco-CD “Fantasías y Danzas”, which are from own compositions exists and was recorded together with his ensemble “Flamensky”.
Master´s degree with distiction at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
Release of his Flamenco-CD “Conmover”, in which he is starring as the protagonist.
In 2022 he was appointed as an assistant teacher at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
Performances as a soloist, both classical and flamenco, with the dance show “Bailaoras”, in duo with Carlos Piñana, aswell with the Carlos Piñana Group, in duo with the flutist Fabian Franco Ramirez, with “ProFLAMENCO” trio, with the ensemble “Flamensky” to which belong: Oscar Antoli, Christian Jelicic, Carlos Ronda Mas, Fabian Franco Ramirez and Claus Riedl.
He considers as his most important performances (classical and flamenco) his solo concert in Radiokulturhaus, Vienna (2017), his appearance with Carlos Piñana and the orchestra La Orquesta Sinfonica de la Region de Murcia at the Auditorio y Centro de Congresos Victor Villegas, Murcia (2016), the appearance of the Carlos Piñana Group in Dell Hall, Austin-Texas (2018) and the CD presentation “Fantasías y Danzas” in Cafe Berlin, Madrid (2018).
Stands out by, unique in flamenco world, precision and clarity of sound thanks to his thorough classical background. In this context he’s being called innovative, and revolutionary, ground-breaking.
He was teaching aswell at international masterclasses, for example at the guitarmasterscamp in Poland, Terra artis Festival in Poland or at the guitar festival in Almansa, Spain.
Rainer Maria Nero is also a member of the international famenco guitar school “ProFLAMENCO”.
Thanks to his classical education, he manages to introduce classical students to this world.
