Pianist, professor, member of many chamber ensembles, active organiser of various international piano forums and concert series, jury member of many international piano competitions.
Graduated from J. Naujalis Music Gymnasium (teacher B. Budzinauskienė's class) and later continued her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Olga Šteinberg.
While still a second year student she started to work as a concertmaster at the Singing Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. After graduation, she taught piano for 2 years at the Piano Department of the Faculty of Music of Klaipėda University, and later at the Concertmaster's and Piano Departments of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
She has actively performed with the famous Lithuanian singers G. Kaukaite, V. Noreika, I. Milkevičiūtė, L. Linaburgyte, L. Norvaiša, L. Pautienium, A. Rubežium, G. Bergorulka and many others.
He has collaborated with Lithuanian conductors J. Aleksa, G. Rinkevičius, S. Sondeckis, R. Geniušas.
R. Biveinienė-Jakutytė was the founder and artistic director of the concert series "Young Talents" (1995-2000). The concerts of this series presented the most talented young singers and pianists - concertmasters to the Lithuanian public. Musicologist V. Gerulaitis, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra under the direction of S. Sondeckis, the Lithuanian Chamber of Artists (director A. Balčiūnienė), the Lithuanian State Philharmonic Orchestra, the radio and the press have collaborated with the concerts of this cycle.
Since 2000 R. Biveinienė-Jakutytė has lived in Spain. After successfully passing the state exams (Spanish-Galego, history of music, musical analysis and harmony, defence of her pedagogical thesis and a 45-minute solo recital) she was invited to work at the State Music Conservatory of Vigo (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo).
In Spain R. Biveiniene-Jakutytė continued her active concert activity as a soloist and as a member of various chamber ensembles, with renowned performers such as F. Raña (Spain), K. Smith (England), A. Moraguez (Cuba), E. Speller (Belgium), B. Beed (Australia), etc.
She has participated in various prestigious international festivals: Espazos sonoros (Spain), Piné Musica Festival (Italy), Festival das Quintas (Portugal), Mondi Sonori (Italy), IKFEM (Spain), and many others. Biveiniene-Jakutytė is the founder and artistic director of three chamber music festivals. Biveiniene-Jakutytė participates as a jury member in national and international piano competitions, as well as participates in various scientific conferences and curriculum development in Spain, Italy and France.
Professor has been invited to various conservatories in Europe to teach Piano Masterclasses. She is also actively involved in various joint masterclasses with renowned European teachers such as J. Kern (Mozarteum, Austria), I. Balas (Academia B. Bartok, Hungary), A. Meinel (Conservatorio F. Mendehlsson, Germany), R. Bambace (Conservatorio "Lucio Campiani", Italy), V. Balsani (Conservatorio di musica di "G.Verdi").
For her active concert and pedagogical activity R. Biveiniene-Jakutyte was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Galicia" (2011).
