Member of the Lithuanian Photographers' Union; worked at the Kaunas Stepas Žukas Applied Arts Technical School, Šiauliai Museum of Photography, and taught photography at Šiauliai University, Art Department. She participates in joint exhibitions, organises solo exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad, compiles photography publications and curates exhibitions. She has received international awards. In 2005 and 2009 she was awarded the Šiauliai City Culture and Art Prize. Her most important photographic cycles are Interpretations (1996-2003), My Clothes (1977-2004), In the Bedroom (1977-2004), Encounters (2005), Sisters (2006-2007), Austria'07 (2007), My Time (2011-2013), Twenty-Seven Returns (2018-2023).
