In 1985 graduated from Lithuanian State Institute of Fine Arts (now Vilnius Academy of Arts), acquired specialty of glass artist. Till 2000 worked as a designer at glass factory “Panevėžio stiklas”.
Since 1992 member of Lithuanian Artists’ Association.
In 1993 worked on probation in Denmark, Bornholm island at glass masters’ Charlie Maeker (“Snogebaek glashutte” studio) and Pete Hunner (“Baltic Sea Glass” studio). He is well acquainted with Latvian, Byelorussian, Ukrainian schools of glass design.
In 2000 founded own studio of glass design in Panevėžys GLASREMIS.
Since 1985 he has been taking an active part in exhibitions as well as in creative symposia and various art events in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, russia,
Belarus, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Faroes Islands, China, United Arab Emirates, the USA and others. Remigijus Kriukas worked as an art expert in Ningbo, China.
1993 at the glass art symposium in Bardudvarnok (Hungary) his work was recognized as the best.
2009 - winner in the exhibition "Art Day in Panevezys 2009" in nomination "For the creative maturity".
2006 the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists Award with Professional certificate and knights of profession mark, "For the glorification of the country in various exhibitions”.
2010 at the international blown glass symposium in Lviv (Ukraine) awarded with silver medal of Ukraine National Art Academy for creative achievements.
2011 was elected "The man of the year of Panevėžys " for the significant increase in export, an impressive art exhibitions, permanent art expositions and active participation in representing Panevėžys art and business nationally and abroad."
2014 Lithuanian Artists' Association awarded with a Gold Badge, because of promotion of contemporary glass art in Lithuania and abroad. 2014 Granted of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts as Foreign Member of the Academy.
His artworks were obtained by art museums of the The Lithuanian National Museum of Art (Vilnius, Lithuania), Art Museum in Budapest (Hungary), Frauenau Glass Museum (Germany), The Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv (Ukraine), Glass Museum in Lviv (Ukraine), Evald Okas Museum (Haapsalu, Estonia), Riga Museum of Glass (Latvia), Finnish glass Museum ( Riihimäki,Finland), Zhenjiang Greenwave Glass Art Museum (Ningbo, China), Glasmuseum Alter Hof Herding (Coesfeld – Lette, Germany).
