Renata Marcinkutė Lesieur graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater majoring in piano (1987) and organ (1989). 1992-1993 interned at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Austria), prof. In Heribert Metzger's class. Later, he improved in master classes led by famous European organists Zsigmond Szathmary, Jean Boyer, Jan Laukvik, Margaret Philips and many others. in 1989 Marcinkute Lesieur won the 2nd prize at the international organ competition in Kyiv. in 1991 became the laureate of the interpretation of the works of Floro Peeters in Belgium. In the same year, he became the winner of the International M.K. Winner of the Čiurlionis pianists and organists competition.
The musician performs a lot as a soloist and with various orchestras, choirs and ensembles, has performed with world-famous musicians - David Gering, Ivan Monighetti, Linda Maxey and others, is regularly invited to participate in organ music festivals. The performer toured in the Baltic States, Poland (Bach Festival in Warsaw), Austria - at the Salzburg Festival, England, Åland Islands at the Organ Music Festival, Norway, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia (J.S. Bach Festival), Holland, Italy, France, Mexico, USA.
Renata Marcinkutė Lesieur is regularly invited to play the organ at inauguration and opening events in various countries, to teach at European universities. The performer taught or led organ masterclasses at the Salzburg University Mozarteum in Austria, Poznań Academy of Music in Poland, Pietro Luigi da Palestrina Conservatory in Cagliari, Italy, Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, Italy (2013), Malmo Academy of Music in Sweden (2014), etc.
R. Marcinkutė Lesieur is the vice-chairman of the Religious Music Center in Vilnius, which organizes over 60 classical and contemporary music concerts every year, the Sacred Music Hours of St. Director of Art at Kazimierz Church. Head of the Organ and Harpsichord Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, docent.
in 2015 The President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, awarded R. Marcinkutė with the Lesieur Order "For Services to Lithuania" medal. in 2017 for her services to Lithuanian culture, she was awarded the honorary sign of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania "Carry your light and believe". in 2021 - Vilnius city municipality of St. Christopher laureate.
