Lithuanian visual artist, interested in mushrooms from an early age. Her parents affectionately called her "mushroom" and her childhood was full of fairy tales and drawings with Ringailė at the centre. Recently, as Ringaille honours her childhood and continues to explore the world of mushrooms through research projects, mushrooms have become an integral part of her artistic practice. Feeling a passion for visual communication, Ringaille seeks to challenge her work by questioning the boundaries between the real and the fictitious, using digital tools and printed media. In addition, she explores (fictional) languages and alternative sounds by experimenting with representation. In 2023, Demšytė graduated with honours with a BA in Design from the Willem de Kooning Academy and her work has been shown/acquired throughout the Netherlands and abroad (Lisbon, PT; New York, USA; Warsaw, PL).
