In her art, Rūta Levulienė aims to reveal the relationship between humans and nature by using various artistic techniques. She explores the sensation of fresh air, the importance of nature to humanity, and their interconnectedness in her paintings. Drawing inspiration from natural motifs found in augmented reality, photographs, the internet, and videos, she investigates the junctions of nature and humanity. She expresses the human disconnection from nature through fragmented spaces and figures in her artwork. In contrast, other paintings depict more unifying, calming spaces with thinly applied layers of paint using the smearing technique, providing a sense of refreshment to the soul. Levulienė's works, which have exhibited in Lithuania, Ireland, Norway, and the United States, have been featured in nine solo exhibitions, twenty group exhibitions, and eight residencies.
