Rūta Norkūnė was born in 1990 in Vilnius. She studied Lithuanian and Spanish philology at Vilnius University, but she considers education and city history as her great vocation. In her spare time, she reads books, draws, travels, cooks, and most of all enjoys going out with her curious curly-haired pet poodle, Freya, who also likes to call her by the name of Bear.
