Šarūnas Baltrukonis uses the canvas as the desktop of photoshop software, layer by layer, adding layers and creating overall compositions. The objects of the painting are various objects or images found in the environment. By extracting a specific image or a complex shape from everyday life, the artist simplifies it, turning it into a flat, unrecognisable blob. By cutting and collaging, he creates a new digital reality that is juxtaposed with painting and in which subliminal images are intertwined with the computer reality.
