One of the most talented percussionists of the young generation in Poland. Graduate of the Jazz Institute of the Academy of Music in Katowice and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Founder of the Gravity Jazz Collective. Nominated three times for the Fryderyk Award.
He has collaborated with such artists as Victor Mendoza, George Garzone, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Wojciech Karolak, Janusz Muniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Maciej Sikała, Janusz Skowron, Michael Patches Stewart, Piotr Schmidt, Benjamin Drazen, Lora Szafran, Monika Borzym.
He is the recipient of numerous awards at jazz competitions, including: special award for the Greatest Talent of the Tarnów Jazz Contest 2008, individual award at Jazz nad Odra in Wroclaw 2010, 2nd prize at Jazz Hoeilaard in Belgium in 2010, 1st prize at the XXXIV Getxo Jazz competition in Spain, 1st prize at Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Gora in 2011 and 2012.
