Šviesė Čepliauskaitė has completed her residency and postgraduate studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied under Jurgis Karnavičius. Additionally, she interned at the Frédéric Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw under Barbara Hesse-Bukowska. The pianist further refined her skills at international masterclasses in Great Britain and Germany. She has also participated in international festivals abroad and in Lithuania, as well as in musical projects and has developed chamber music and music literary programs with Lithuanian and foreign performers. Most of Š. Čepliauskaitė's solo repertoire consists of works by romantic composers, especially the creations of Frédéric Chopin, whose entire waltz collection she was the first to record in Lithuania in 2004. She has also developed unique concert programs revealing the links between Frédéric Chopin and Lithuanian creators, and in 2011, was awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture from the Republic of Poland. The pianist is also actively involved in nurturing the work of Prince Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis and has recorded his compositions for piano with actress Virginija Kochanskyte and singer Giedre Zeicaite.
