In Lithuanian theater circles, the name of director Tatiana Timko is quite well-known and respected. Although, in the old fashioned way, she heads not a professional, but an amateur theater. But today the line between these notions is quite shaky. The Harlequin Theater, created and headed by Tatiana Timko, is recognized in Lithuania and abroad as an amateur or professional theater. But that is not the main thing. The audience and fellow theater-goers always look forward to Harlequin's productions, tickets are hard to get, and the auditorium is full. Because it is known in advance: any production of "Harlequin" will be made brightly, spectacularly, imaginatively, talented. And, as the Poet said, "talent is the only news that is always new".
