Born in 1964 in Vilnius, he studied at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (formerly known as the Vilnius M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts), attended the B. Dvarionas music school, and later studied higher music at the J. Tallat-Kelpša School. In 1988, he completed his piano studies at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (now called the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre), and in 1990 began studying the organ with Professors Kęstutis Grybauskas and Leopoldas Digrys. He continued his education in performance and interpretation courses with renowned performers and educators, such as Ludger Lohmann, Jon Laukvik, Bob van Aasperen, among others.
From 1986, he has worked as a concertmaster and teacher at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts and the Trakai Art School, continuing to work at the former to this day. Between 1990 and 2000, he organized concerts in Lithuania with a chamber ensemble called "Atrium," and also performed as a soloist in the roles of harpsichordist and organist in Lithuania, Germany, and Latvia. He also played with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, performing solo harpsichord parts and basso continuo.
As a soloist from 2000 to 2001, he held several clavichord recitals at the National Philharmonic, including the first performance of J. S. Bach's monumental cycle "Goldberg Variations" by a Lithuanian harpsichordist and pianist. He also performed all six of J. S. Bach's sonatas for violin and harpsichord with violinist Prof. Ingrida Armonaite in 2002. In 2007, he completed his legal studies at Mykolas Romeris University, earning a master's degree in law, and currently works as a private lawyer. Since 1994, he has collaborated with the press ("Lietuvos rytas", "7 meno dienos", "Muzikos barai", "Veidas", "Baltijos kelias", "Lietuvos aidas") as a music critic and publicist. He also participates in public activities and is a member of the Council of the Lithuanian Musicians' Union and the National Organists Association.
