He studied trumpet, conducting, and educational specializations at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (currently the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater) under the tutelage of Eduardo Kuskino and Romo Balčiūno. Since 1986, he has been working with the children's and youth orchestra "Jovaras." Since 1993, he has been a soloist, concertmaster, and assistant conductor of the Lithuanian State Wind Instrument Orchestra "Trimitas." Since 2009, he has been the chief conductor of the orchestra. He has conducted "Trimitas" at an international wind orchestra festival, where the group became a laureate. Since 2008, he has been a regular participant in an international festival in Germany. He is the chief conductor of the World Orchestras Festival in Germany. His orchestra won the Grand Prix at an international music festival held in Poland. He has successfully performed at an international orchestra festival in Norway. Since 2010, he has been the initiator, coordinator, and participant of the international festival "Sound the Trumpets." He and "Trimitas" have prepared original programs of classical, contemporary, sacred, jazz, and popular music. He has collaborated with composers and conductors and has worked on joint projects with prominent Lithuanian performers. He has also recorded a compact disc of contemporary Lithuanian compositions. He conducts and is accompanied by the country's most prominent performers. He actively participates in international seminars and master classes in Lithuania and other countries. He is a member of the Lithuanian Musicians' Union, the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles, and the Lithuanian Composers' Union. He initiates and organizes educational concerts, creative camps, and laboratories for creative Lithuanian children and youth.
