Vaidotė Benaitienė, guitarist and teacher, never goes a day without music. She loves the classical guitar since her early childhood and still doesn't let it out of her hands. She is convinced that the vibrations of the guitar strings go straight to the human soul.
The guitarist's concert career began while studying at the Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Conservatory. As befits a student, she gave many concerts, took part in competitions and festivals, where she won prizes.
Later, the guitarist successfully graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she received a Master's degree in guitar and music pedagogy. She has performed at Vilnius Town Hall, St. Catherine's Church, Lithuanian National Philharmonic and other venues. She has appeared many times in the concerts of the "Ąžuoliukas" Choir, colouring her songs with warm guitar tones. The guitarist has also taken part in contemporary art projects with the Psilikon Theatre. She has appeared at the festivals "Centras" in Kaunas, "Plartforma" in Klaipėda, and participated in the projects of the Art Printing House. She performs both solo and in various chamber ensembles (flute and guitar duo, violin, flute and guitar trio).
Vaidotė Benaitienė is also a teacher, dedicated to her work. Since 2002, she has been working at the Vilnius "Ąžuoliukas" Music School, where she teaches children who love performing and classical guitar.
