V. Poškus graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2001 with a Master's degree in History and Theory of Art, and in 2007 with a Doctorate degree. From 2007 to 2015 he worked at the Kazis Varnelis House-Museum, and later he was the director of the Titanikas Exhibition Hall of the Vilnius Academy of Arts Museum
An art critic, he publishes art criticism texts and essays in the Lithuanian cultural press and blogs. He has compiled an album of drawings "Adomas Samogitas" (2016) and a photo album "Zenonas Bulgakovas Alytus" (2016). He published the books "The Artist's Workshop: 42 Stories", "Menologas, or Ethically about Aesthetics (ART)" (2021), and was co-author of the publication "Videniškiai: beieškant' Land of the Dukes of Giedraičiai (2022)".
