Representative of a famous family of artists in Lithuania. In 1985, he graduated from the Lithuanian Institute of Arts. Since 1987, he has been a teacher at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union. In 2005–2006, he received an individual state scholarship for creators of art and culture. He created symbolic figurative compositions, in which he usually uses surrealistic zoomorphic motifs, based on images of ancient Egyptian, Babylonian, Persian, and Japanese cultures. The paintings are dynamic, dominated by sharp combinations of pure colors, reminiscent of medieval stained glass windows. They are characterized by a clear semantic meaning of images and an attention to decorative expression. Since 1984, he has participated in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.
