Carl Vilhelm John Blomgren, born 17 July 1991, is a Swedish actor and singer.
Vilhelm Blomgren was raised in Gotland. In 2003 he made his debut at the Roman Theatre as the Prince of Wales in William Shakespeare's Richard III. With Min gröna ö he took part in the 2004 Lilla Melodifestivalen, where he came third. From 2007 to 2010 he studied aesthetic programme with music at the Elfrida Andrée Higher Secondary School in Visby. Later he worked at the Gotland County Theatre and in 2013 he was accepted to the School of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. He did his internship at the Helsingborg City Theatre and graduated in 2016. Since then he has worked at Gothenburg Opera and Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, among other theatres.
He will make his television debut in 2019 in Jonas Gardell's The Days When Flowers Bloom. In the same year, he played the lead role in Lukas Moodyson's comic series Gösta on HBO Nordic, and made his international debut in Ari Aster's feature film Midsommar.
Blomgren plays violin, mandolin, guitar and piano. He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the children's band Karl-Petters Orkester, which was nominated for Best Children's Music at the 2015 Manifest Gala Awards.
