Born in 1975 in Klaipėda. In 1994 he entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Department of Choir Conducting (prof. Algimantas Lopas, doc. Tadas Šumskas). In 1999, she entered the Department of Singing at the LMTA (singing class of lecturer Jolanta Čiurilaitė, chamber singing class of Prof. Regina Maciūtė). Participated in: 2000 Zenon Paulauskas Young Singers Competition (diploma); 2003 in the Juozas Gruodis chamber singing competition (II place diploma winner for the performance of French music). In 2000 and 2001, he sang in the Cantiamo concerts of the LMTA Singing Department organized by LNOBT. In 2006, at the international competition "Iskustvo XXI veka" in Kyiv, she became the laureate of the 1st prize. During his studies, he played the role of the Countess in W. A. Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro. Performs in Vilnius, other cities of Lithuania, tours abroad. Interned with Olga Kondin, Johannes von Duisburg, Eiddwen Harrhy. In 2003, he made his debut at the Klaipėda Musical Theater.
Vilma Mončytė, while finishing her singing studies, prepared the role of Violeta Valery in G. Verdi's opera "La Traviata" at the LMTA Opera Studio. In 2006, LNOBT made her debut in J. Strauss's operetta "Vienas kraujas", creating the role of the Countess. In her repertoire - Tatiana, Larina (P. Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin"), Mrs. Ford (O. Nicolay's "Windsor Wits"), Sister Angelica (G. Puccini's "Sister Angelica"), Fata Morgana (S. Prokofiev "Love for Three Oranges") "), Eglė (V. Klova's "Castles") and others.
