Lithuanian artist – textile artist. In 1963–1974 she studied at V. Kudirka Secondary School. In 1976–1982 she studied textile at the Lithuanian Institute of Arts. Membership Lithuanian Artists' Union, since 1990 Lithuanian Textile and Artists' Guild, since 2001 She weaves tapestries from wool, linen, woolen, jute, silk ("Theatre" 1986, "Letter with a Dragonfly", Lithuanian Ministry of Culture, "Living", Kaunas University of Medicine, both 1988, "Užuolaida" 2000), creates batik (triptych "Kaunas Bells" 1985). The works are characterized by subtle color, lyricism, use of cotton, linen fiber, various non-traditional materials (metal, paper, etc.), embroidery. Favorite tapestry (openwork, holes, textures), prints and compositions from stiffened cotton, textile miniatures. The work develops the search for new ways of expression, interpretations of national identity and a modern approach to tradition in art. The artist creates textile works for exhibitions and projects, public and private interiors. Since 1983. participates in republican and foreign exhibitions.
