Born in Kalisz in 1966. In 1991, he graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and won the Zdzisław Czermański Competition for the best diploma of this university. He was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art. He traveled a lot, which, apart from pleasure, also deepened his professional experience. By chance and a few months spent in Argentina in 1995, his artistic interests turned to scenography. He remains faithful to this field to this day, having realized over 400 dramatic plays, operas, musicals, many concerts and exhibition arrangements. He works with esteemed Polish theater and film directors. He also realizes projects in the field of interior architecture, applied graphics, but his leading field is scenography. Winner of many awards and distinctions, including: “Aciu” statuettes for the most popular stage designer in Lithuania, the award of the President of Kalisz for achievements in the field of artistic creativity and a distinction for stage design as part of the 11th National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art. In 2005, he received a distinction from the Minister of Culture for stage design at the Łaźnia Nowa Theatre in Kraków in the 11th National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art. Winner of the Łódź Golden Mask for the best stage design in the 2010/2011 season. In 2023, he was distinguished by the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in the field of culture.
