In 2017 she graduated from the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts and is currently working as a teacher at the Janis Rozentals Art School. In 2016, she studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, for four months as part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme. In 2015, she received a SEB scholarship in painting. Zylė works in the egg tempera painting technique. The paintings are mostly small. The artist defines the format of her practice as chamber painting. She relates the mutual tension between the depicted objects and the message they send. Thematic painting releases a series of associations rooted in culture. The artist has had five solo exhibitions and has participated in 18 group exhibitions since 2013. Her most relevant international exhibitions are Jeune Creation Europenne - Montrouge Biennale of Young European Art (2017, Paris, France) and Outlands - SURVIVAL KIT 10 (2018, Riga, Latvia).
