On the occasion of the most beautiful holidays of the year, treat yourself to 100 minutes of joy and wait for Christmas with the heroes of a wonderful musical fairy tale for the whole family - "The Fairy Tale Tree"!
The musical performance "Pasakų medis", created in 2005, was a large-scale musical performance specially created for the arena for the whole family. The music was composed by the jazz pianist Artūras Anusauskas, professor of the Academy of Music, and the libretto and verse text by the host of shows and events Andrius Rožickas.
In the musical fairy tale, more than twenty of the most popular fairy tale heroes meet - Cinderella, the prince, Snow White, Puss in Boots, Little Boy, the Witch, the three little pigs and others, who are helped by the main heroine - a girl - to find the lost happy endings of fairy tales.
In the updated production, a "live" sound group and a children's ensemble play, scenography and visual effects have been updated with modern technologies.
In December 2022, the audience of the Kaunas Arena already saw the performance, and in December 2023, the performance returns to the renovated largest Vilnius Arena.
The main roles are played by both young and promising performers, as well as those who have already participated in this project.
A creative team of more than 120 people, including 12 soloists, almost 60 dancers, a group of young choristers, a live sound group, a group of creative and technical staff, partners from Canada are waiting to meet the audience.
Every spectator of the performance will be given the opportunity to participate interactively in the action.
Upon entering the hall, spectators will receive special luminous wristbands that are programmed remotely and can change colors and the speed of the glow.
Such wristbands are received by the world's largest spectators, such as Eurovision, the Olympic Games, large world concerts of famous artists, and sports matches. This is a complete innovation in Lithuania.
Depending on the action, the bracelets will change color, the heroes of the performance will engage the audience in the action by interacting with them.
