THE JAXX - KING PROJECT is a musical collaboration between Tofa Jaxx (Tanzania) and Leon Michael King (UK).

The story begins with a chance meeting in Zanzibar in 2016 when Leon was touring with Joss Stone and Tofa warmed them up with her debut performance.

Tofa, a young East African songwriter and vocalist with a fascinating talent, and Leon, a world-renowned and successful guitarist, joined forces after the pandemic for shows across Europe and the UK and for an EP.

Their unique and "jazzy" cultural blend is accompanied by Tofa's "smoked honey" flavored vocals and cleverly timed African melodies.
