SABINA MARTINAITYTĖ, one of the most famous soloists of the Lithuanian Opera, owner of a powerful soprano, professor of the Music Academy of Vytautas Magnus University, is celebrating her 65th birthday this year. The singer devoted more than 30 years to theater and teaching, created many leading roles on the stages of Lithuanian and foreign theaters, performed dozens of concert programs, sang more than 1,500 concerts, educated dozens of students who today enjoy a successful career, she continues to share her talent and knowledge with students.
On October 9, prof. S. Martinaitytė will commemorate the beautiful anniversary on the stage of the Kaunas Philharmonic along with current and former students, laureates of international competitions. They will be assisted by pianists prof. Audronė Eitmanavičiūtė and Vardanas Geodakyanas. The concert will feature vocal music of various eras and genres: arias, duets and ensembles.
