Vilnius University Song and Dance Ensemble on December 2 this year. 6 p.m. Vilnius St. St. John's Church invites you to the "Sue i m a" concert, during which the ensemble will be presented with the "Golden Bird" award established by the Lithuanian National Cultural Center and the World Lithuanian Song Festival Foundation.

About "The Golden Bird"
in 1999 The Lithuanian Folk Culture Center and the Foundation of the World Lithuanian Song Festival have established annual nominations "Golden Bird" for the best amateur art groups and their leaders. This is the highest amateur art award in Lithuania. The purpose of the "Golden Bird" awards is to draw the public's attention to the artistic creation of amateurs, its significance for the country's culture, to highlight and publicly present and honor the year's best choirs, folklore and dance ensembles, theaters, folk music bands, folk music and brass orchestras, their leaders, personalities deserving of national culture.
