Where the clouds fly at night,
Mom, follow your dream.
close your eyes and don't cry
Shut up my sunshine...
The mother's room is cozy and warm, maybe a little too loaded with things. In it, among various shapes and colors of lace, many boxes and sweet cakes with whipped cream, mother Thelma and her adult daughter Jessie spend the evening. Only the usual and recognizable routine is suddenly interrupted by the words of Jesse about the planned suicide. This message becomes a point of reference, forcing the characters to look at each other more carefully, to rethink life and death.
The creators of the one-part tragicomic performance, unraveling the chain of causes of this strange situation, are looking for ways to understand the sensitive, sometimes absurd, relationships with the closest ones. In the performance, the audience is invited to think together about a significant, but often not asked question - is it possible for two people to have an open and honest conversation, when the main condition for it is to try to really hear each other?
