"All these years it is important for us as musicians to show our unity and present Ukrainian culture and Ukrainian music in the context of European culture. To demonstrate the interaction between the cultures of Ukraine and Lithuania and to thank the Lithuanian society, which sincerely supports the choice of our country and the people of Ukraine to fight against the aggressor", Denys Karachevtsev, cellist of the Lyatoshynsky Trio, presents the main idea of the upcoming concert.
The chamber music ensemble "Lyatoshynsky Trio" is also struggling, actively presenting Ukrainian folk music and traditions in Europe. In addition to classics, the ensemble's repertoire includes many modern opus. They focus on the performance and dissemination of their nation's musical creations, presenting both lesser-known masterpieces of Ukrainian chamber music and premieres of new works. According to the members of the ensemble, the popularization of Ukrainian music is an important factor in creating a strong image of the modern country on the world stage.
"We will play works that, we believe, will interest both those who like the famous masterpieces of European classics and those who want to get acquainted with the latest modern Ukrainian music.
