In the final concert of the festival, the audience will be treated to an intriguing fusion of carillon music and contemporary dance. The Dutch carillon player Paul Maassen, who will appear at the festival for the first time, has written a ballet for carillon and string quartet, which he will perform in concert together with the NeoQuartet collective from Poland. The choreography of the ballet will be created by two choreographers and dancers from Klaipėda, Dovilė Binkauskaitė and Inga Kuznetsova.
The Klaipėda carillon, which has been in existence for 36 years, has become a symbol of the city's uniqueness. It doesn't matter whether it's raining or sunny - the Klaipėda Carillon Festival will welcome you, dear listeners!
