The third film in the Ant-Man saga officially kicks off the 5th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where many secrets will be revealed that will change even the most loyal fans' perception of the reality of this Cinematic Universe. In the film, Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) and Houp van Dain (played by Evangeline Lilly) return as superheroes Ant-Man and the Wasp to continue their adventures together. Following the events of "Avengers. Scott Lang has written a book and spends time with his daughter Keise (played by Kathryn Newton) in an attempt to make up for the time he missed with his family. But when the girl, who is following in her parents' footsteps, develops a new device capable of sending out strong quantum signals, the situation takes an unexpected turn as the whole family is suddenly thrown into the Quantum Realm. Together with Houp's parents, Dr. Henry Jonathan Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dain (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family meets strange new creatures in the mysterious kingdom and embarks on an adventure that will reveal what they previously thought impossible. In the latest film from long-time Ant-Man franchise director Peyton Reed, actor Jonathan Majors joins the Marvel Cinematic Family as the new cinematic universe's new villain Kang, who is crucial to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, paving the way for alternate realms, events and heroes.
