EMERITUS QUARTET - an ensemble that would decorate the programs of even the most prestigious European and world jazz festivals. Each member of this quartet is a Lithuanian jazz legend who has made a significant contribution to the formation of not only the national, but also the regional or even the entire European jazz history. Composer of bright memory Algirdas Klova wrote about the performance of EMERITUS QUARTET musicians at the "Vilnius Mama Jazz" festival in 2021: "<...> the main stars of this concert and, probably, of the entire festival - Petras Vyšniauskas, Vytautas Labutis, Eugenijus Kanevičius and Arkadij Gotesman with the "Toast" project.

All four performers of EMERITUS QUARTET have been participating in Birštonas jazz festivals since 1982 and have won awards from this event. Therefore, the concert is unique not only in the skill of the quartet musicians, but also in the special camaraderie that is only possible among jazz lovers.
