A special evening at the Lofts! For the first time in Lithuania, Indonesian experimental duo Kuntari. Tribal percussion, backed by angry guitar and caressed by dark trumpet hands.

The concert will be supported by Lithuanians Sheep Got Waxed, and a solo performance by Domantas Razmaus.

KUNTARI
Calling their genre Primal-core, KUNTARI have been experimenting with primitive voices, derived from the mating calls of animals, which were mixed with variations of Indonesian tribal rhythms. The music developed a percussive primitive sound combined with a dark atmosphere, a solid two-person unit and a solid body with intense dynamics of ancient rhythms. Their live performances create an organic, raw, untamed and wild approach.

KUNTARI has collaborated with many mixed genre musicians such as Rully Shabara, Arthur Hnatek, Morgue Vanguard, Jonas Engel, Dirk Wachtelaer, Luigi Monteanni, Yuji Ishihara and Yasushi Yoshida.

SHEEP GOT WAXED
A 12 year old active band that still manages to muddy the musical waters and be very strange. Guitar, saxophone and drums accompanied by various effects and digital percussion, the trio's music is technically and compositionally complex. However, the surprisingly fresh combination of jazz, electronica and punk is friendly to any curious ear. The group remains one of the most successful exports of the Lithuanian alternative music scene.

The group boldly manifests musical extremes, plays with contrasts - caresses and bites, freezes and burns, shampoos and scrubs. The albums have their own narratives and programmatic qualities, so the trio is also in demand in the context of other arts - they create music for theatre, and record silent cinema.

DOMANTAS RAZMUS
Drummer, percussionist and composer, in a career spanning more than a decade, has appeared with many of the most famous contemporary/popular jazz artists from Lithuania and abroad. His debut as a composer came in 2023 with his first solo album Riddims and Groves Vol. 1" and is currently actively working on another solo album, in which he performs electronic music using innovative technologies on percussion instruments.
