Anniversary concert of the season "Autumn with Music" on 3 October "Fans of the Polyphony Choir are invited to the opening concert of the new autumn-winter season. Not only will it feature music performed by one of Lithuania's finest choirs, but the event will also be of interest to those who follow the creative work of the group's founder, Sigitas Vaiciulionis. Without the maestro, the cultural life of Šiauliai is unimaginable. Having devoted fifty years of his life to the musical culture of our city and the whole country, he will once again conduct the choir celebrating its 50th anniversary. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy his gestures, musical interpretations and attention-grabbing stories. The real star of the evening is Asta Krikščiūnaitė. The singer, who began her musical career in 1987, immediately caught the attention of listeners and critics. Her musical path is closely linked to the activities of Polifonija, where she has performed many large-scale compositions in early and church music festivals in Šiauliai (now the Resurrexit festival) and other events in Lithuania. More and more time is devoted to pedagogical work and the education of young singers, and Prof. A. Krikščiūnaitė, a professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, never ceases to impress with her baritone voice.
