International Music Festival of the Czech Republic. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival presents to its audience an exceptional acquaintance with renowned harp virtuosos.
Four musicians who have conquered the hearts of European music lovers, laureates of many international competitions Giedra Julija Tutkutė, Aistė Baliunytė Dailidienė, Agnė Keblytė and David Lootveot are meeting in Vilnius especially for this concert, where they will enchant the audience with their enchanting performances and pay tribute to the phenomenon of Čiurlionis - each of the pieces they perform in solos and duets will have a musical or thematic link with this great Lithuanian composer.
Four excellent harpists will perform on the stage of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Duchy of St. Debussy's works for harp or the musicians' own arrangements for this instrument.
In some works, such as C. Saint-Saens' Fantasia, which the young Čiurlionis learned during his first lessons at the Plungė Manor Orchestra School, the harpists will be assisted by the excellent flute virtuoso Ieva Kuprevičiūtė.

About the performers
On the evening of the concert, the stage of the Palace of the Grand Dukes will be graced by some truly extraordinary personalities.
In spite of her young age, the graduate of the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts,
GIEDRA JULIJA TUTKUTĖ is not just a great professional. In the last few years alone, the recipient of a scholarship from the Rostropovich Foundation "Help for Lithuanian Children" has participated in international harp competitions in Stockholm, Prague, Istanbul, Kharkov, Sondershausen, Germany, Hong Kong, Szeged, Hungary, and Lithuania, all of which she won 1st prizes.
Giedra Julija is also an excellent composer - her chamber opuses have been winning first prizes for several years in the Republican Young Composers' Competitions organised by the Lithuanian Composers' Union and the International Composition Competition in Kazakhstan, and have been performed in many European countries.
The student has been awarded the "Little Christopher" statue twice and has received the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite.
A special connection with Čiurlionis also links another harpist who will perform on the stage of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. AISTĖ BALIUNYTĖ - also a former "Čiurlioni", currently teaching at the most famous Lithuanian school of arts.She is the concertmaster of the harp section of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Orchestra, and collaborates with other orchestras in Lithuania and abroad. She has won numerous international competitions and prizes.
AGNĖ KEBLYTĖ continued her studies at the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts in Geneva, where she studied with the renowned pedagogue Florence Sitruk, then in Brussels, and then at the Paris National Conservatoire under the guidance of Isabelle Moretti. Thanks to her excellent craftsmanship and original interpretations, Agnė has won numerous international competitions and special prizes for her performances of national works. This opened the way to many prestigious music festivals, such as Young Artist in Concert in Davos, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad and Les Museïques in Basel (Switzerland), Perla Baroku in Kobylka (Poland). She has also played at harp festivals in Belgrade (Serbia) and Gödöllő (Hungary).
Agnė Keblytė has worked for several years with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, and currently lives and performs in Paris, where she collaborates with the greatest French orchestras and has had the opportunity to work with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Klaus Mäkelä and others.
DAVID LOOTVOET, soloist of the Orchestre National de l'Opéra de Paris, crossed paths with Lithuania at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he met Lithuanian students in Isabelle Moretti's class and heard Čiurlionis. Since then, his works have been a regular part of David's repertoire.
The Frenchman is a winner of international competitions in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and collaborates with Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Les Siècles, Les Dissonances, Philharmonique de Radio France and the Belgian National Orchestra, Pasdeloup Orchestra, and has had the opportunity to play with conductors such as James Levine, Youri Termikanov, Seiji Osawa, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Mikko Frank, Valeri Guergiev, Gustavo Dudamel and others.
The soloist, who performs extensively, focuses on festivals and chamber music and has recorded several discs.
