Those gathered are in for a special meeting where songs and words will touch their hearts. It cannot be otherwise when we encounter a book that heals wounded hope.
The popular actor and prolific author surprises many not only with the content of the books he writes, but also with his musical book presentations that illuminate Lithuanian libraries. The latter is no exception. The cozy and sincere event will be hosted by Lithuanian actors L. Rastokaitė, E. Kvoščiauskas and E. Latėnaitė, and excerpts from the latest book will be read by R. Kazlas, R. Vilkaitis and V. Martinaitis. The talented A. Giniotis, I. Balsytė, D. Auželis, S. Uždavinys and D. Skamarakas will also participate in the presentation evening.
In his latest book "Indians of Antarctica", Mr. Gaižauskas tells about a little boy who sees his worried father every day and his mother who cries quietly at night, who does not tell him why his older sister is always in the hospital. Strange guests begin to visit the grandfather's country house, they usually sit at the table and are silent. What's happening? One evening, a boy sees a road winding into the fog and a mysterious guest emerging from it. The real Indian, wearing a feather crown! When asked at the dinner table where he came from, he unexpectedly replies that he is a citizen of Antarctica. Grandpa's game? Or is an Indian just a street artist? What does the feather left by the bird wandering around the room symbolize? How many do you need to collect to solve the mystery?
"Adults write fairy tales for children. And creates a world for them as a promise of adventure and discovery. The author of this book follows a different path. He also talks about losses. But at the same time it helps to discover. The world in itself." - observes Rytis Zemkauskas.
Let's go in search of our own world already on September 21!
