Baritone Modestas Sedlevičius studied singing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, in the class of prof. Davidas Staponkus. In 2015-2016 he won a scholarship from the Academy of Music of the Teatro La Scala in Milan. The singer has won prizes at international competitions, including 3rd and Special Orchestra Awards at the DEBUT Competition in Germany, 2nd prize at the Virgilijus Noreika Singing Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania, and 3rd prize at the International Lions Club Singing Competition in Immling, Germany. In recent years he has been performing opera roles in Germany and the Netherlands. In the Song Art Festival, Modestas, together with pianist Julija Sadaunykaite, presents the works of the interwar modernist classics by Juozas Gruodis, Kazimieras Viktoras Banaiitis and the first Lithuanian composer Konstancija Brundzaitė.
Pianist Julija Sadaunykaite graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and completed a training programme at the Salzburg Mozarteum, where she studied with Professor Peter Lang. She continued her postgraduate studies at VMU Academy of Music and Glasgow Royal Conservatoire. She is currently pursuing her solo studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the guidance of Professor Marianna Shirinyan. She has given solo concerts in Poland, Sweden, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, France, Malta, Denmark, USA, China, as well as chamber music concerts and has been awarded prizes in international competitions. Since 2018, she has been a prize-winning performer in the Czech Republic.
Mecosoprano Renata Dubinskaitė studied History and Theory of Art at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and in 2011 defended her doctoral thesis in Art History. In 2015 she graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with a Bachelor's degree in Solo Singing and in 2023 she completed her Master's degree at the Vytautas Magnus University Academy of Music under Prof. Vladimir Prudnikov. He is studying Baroque vocal performance in Bologna with Professor Fernardo Coreiro Opa. In 2023 Renata Dubinskaitė founded a new early music ensemble "Lux Maris", which is the main soloist of the international early music ensemble "Canto Fiorito" (since 2013), the producer of the ensemble and the Kretinga Early Music Festival, as well as the singer of the duo Duo Barocco and the composer of the concert programmes since 2010. For the Song Art Festival, the singer, together with pianist Jone Punyte-Svigariene, has prepared a programme of three women with different destinies, all of whom are creators of contemporary music.
Pianist Jonė Punyytė-Svigarienė graduated from the Kaunas J. Naujalis Gymnasium of Music with a degree in piano performance and from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. From 2001 to 2006 she was a trainee at the Stuttgart Higher School of Music and Theatre, and from 2004 to 2006 at the Trossingen Higher School of Music, where she studied the subtleties of the hammerklavier - an authentic old piano. From 2022 he will continue his doctoral studies at the LAMTA. The pianist has been awarded in Lithuanian and international competitions, participates in festivals in Lithuania, Germany, Italy, and has played with the orchestras of the LAMT and VMU. She pays much attention to contemporary and chamber music, especially the Lied genre. The duo of pianist and singer Renata Dubinskaitė will perform for the first time at the Song Art Festival.
