International Concert Series of the M. Čiurlionis Music Festival in Palanga Kurhaus presents a novelty - a day-long concert for the whole family, where you will meet girls of exceptional talent, sisters Kaja and Klėja Kašubaitė. The pianists will not only play, but also tell their incredibly engaging story, so it will be interesting and useful not only for the children, but also for the parents and grandparents who brought them.
Sisters Kaja and Klėja Kašubaitė are only 14 and 15 years old, but they have already won the hearts of music lovers and competition judges in many countries. They have already won over 100 first prizes and 25 GRAND PRIX in international competitions, performed on the world's biggest stages as soloists, duets or with orchestras, and have been promoting the name of Lithuania far and wide.
Kaja and Klėja were born in the family of a Lithuanian diplomat and a pianist mother, and when their father moved from one country to another, the whole family moved in together. Now living in their fifth country, the girls are always proud to introduce themselves as Lithuanians, but they are open to new things and feel they are citizens of the whole world.
The sisters have been listening to music since they were still under their mother's heart, and growing up, they used to organise concerts for dolls, and then they would bring their beloved toys to the stage to perform. Today, they continue to play in the big stages of the world and are not at all proud of their achievements, but they are happy to meet ordinary, kind people who genuinely admire their charisma, their music and their professionalism on stage, and even paint their music in their paintings...
The most amazing thing is that Kaja and Klea, who are currently living in the capital of Germany, Berlin, love most of all Palanga, which they call home, and they are always overjoyed when they return. They are even more delighted to be performing in the legendary Palanga Kurhaus Concert Hall.
The sisters will perform their most heartfelt and atmospheric pieces, and their story will be told by director Agnė Sunklodaitė.
